Fashion Paris/Shanghai ending 2009!

It’s so wonderful to see that such publicity is had by the negative comments about a man who has such a keen eye for fashion. I believe that the majority of negative postings are from those who may be fashion challenged. I also think that the majority of the negative posters are those of whom hate the fact that the man speaks his mind and does not bullsh!t people by pretending that being portly or lets face it FAT is okay, its unhealthy.

Finally before you comment about how unhealthy it is to be thin...I do believe the world pays more for the overweight than the underweight, I do believe there are more deaths that are a direct result of obesity than anorexia...not saying that either is okay. Billions of dollars in "emergency" medical care is wasted because someone can’t put down the big mac and does not have his/her own health insurance. So lets fix the bigger problem....lets not make clothing that was meant for a healthy or slender woman or man fit a wale and maybe, just maybe it will be more of an incentive to loose a few pounds....since education does not work and fashion and fad seems to be the way to go. Fashion and fad can help make America healthy again!

And lets face it....there is just not enough material to go around "a fat body that is!".

This Is It ! No wait, I meant...

“I’ll be back”- Arnold Schwarzenegger
“They couldn’t hit an elephant at this dist…” – Gen. John Sedgwick
“Go away…I’m all right.” – H.G. Wells
“Friends applaud, the comedy is over.” – Ludwig von Beethoven
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman” – Former U.S. Pres. William Clinton

As in business and real estate, “Location, location, location” is a common belief that helps you survive. In theater as Shakespeare writes, “What’s in a name…” apparently quite a bit. I would guess that no other “Come back’ tours will be named “This Is It!”. It might as well have been named the “Fat Lady Sings” tour, because it was definitely OVER!

Michael Jackson, known to his fans across the globe as The King of Pop, died in Los Angeles at the young age of 50. Michael suffered a cardiac arrest at this home and paramedics were quickly called. The singer was taken to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center only to be pronounced dead at 2:26 in the afternoon, according to People magazine.
According to a statement from the hospital, "His personal physician, who was with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate Jackson, as did paramedics who transferred him."
In the weeks leading up to his untimely death, Michael was busy preparing for yet another comeback tour titled “This Is It!” scheduled to kick off in England. In addition to a huge extended family, Michael leaves behind three kids - Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7.
Michael has left the building; a tongue in cheek reference I make as its original saying was starting when another proclaimed king exited…Elvis, Michaels predeceased former father-in law.

KEVLAR is not just a city in the Middle East!

Every year many news "gossip" sources engage in revisiting old headlines of those of whom we've lost in the past year or decade.

Some of these stories are simply pointless, but nevertheless I will follow suit; much like the yuppies of the 80's through early 90's and now the buppies of the first decade of this century, of course I fit the later. I'll order up that same dry martini...but with a twist.

If i learned only one thing from my training in preparation to and in serving my country in this very same decade is that there are times when you KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!

1a.) if there is an armored vehicle provided, 1b.) there is a reason and 1c.) if you choose not to use it.....I remind you to reference 1a and 1b. Maybe taking advice goes by the wayside for the first female to ever lead a muslim country....maybe she would still be alive if she simply headed the advice of staying down and not that of America supporting her run for office...obviously we dont know what we get ourselves into when supporting a muslim leader a/k/a B. Obama.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, died Dec. 27, 2007 (54)Benazir Bhutto, the daughter of a former prime minister and the first woman elected to lead a Muslim country, had an interesting resume. Twice she was voted prime minister, in 1988 and 1993, and each time she was removed by the president (which apparently extended her life span both times) after allegations of corruption. In 1998 she moved to Dubai, but in the fall of 2007, at the urging of the U.S. and other countries, she returned to Pakistan to run again.

She had addressed a rally and was driving away in a bulletproof vehicle on Dec. 27 when she stood up through the sunroof to wave to the crowd. Shots were fired, a bomb went off and she was fatally wounded. (Huum, this makes me think)

AGAIN....USE THE EQUIPMENT GIVEN TO YOU! THE US MILITARY HAS ADVISED ME OF THIS MANY TIMES....maybe when the U.S. urged her participation in politics they forgot to add what I've been advised on my level of dragooness. Toujours Pret!

Blasts rock downtown Baghdad, killing 4

updated 1:43 a.m. ET Dec. 15, 2009
Associated Press

BAGHDAD - A series of car bombs ripped through downtown Baghdad early Tuesday, killing four people and wounding as many as 15 near the heavily fortified Green Zone, Iraqi police officials said.
At least three explosions were set off within minutes of each other, shortly after 7:30 a.m., the two police officials said. Thick clouds of black smoke could be seen lingering over the area.
The two police officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.
U.S. military spokesman Army Lt. Brian Wierzbicki, said at three or four explosions occurred outside the Green Zone, the heavily fortified area in the center of Baghdad that houses the U.S. Embassy as well as the Iraqi prime minister's office. He did not have any immediate reports of casualties.
The explosions came a week after suicide bombers targeted government buildings in a series of attacks that killed 127 people.
Two of Tuesday's bombings detonated near the Iraqi government's Foreign and Immigration ministries; a third went off near the Iranian embassy, the police officials said. It was not clear whether those buildings were the targets. The Foreign Ministry was targeted in August in a devastating series of bombings targeting government buildings.
Cameraman hurtThe blasts came at the start of the Iraqi workday, and as a group of journalists waited outside the Green Zone for a government-sponsored trip to a refugee camp near the Iranian border. One cameraman was injured in the explosions, but it was not immediately clear who he worked for or the extent of his injuries, said an Associated Press reporter at the scene.
"I had just left my house to go to my school when the big explosion took place," said 12-year-old Mohammed Hussein, who lives nearby. "My father shouted at me to go back home. There is no need for school today."

ITS YOUR DAY....WEEK!

I can only give you love that lasts forever, And the promise to be near each time you call,
and the only heart I own for you and you alone, that’s all, that’s all.

I can only give you country walks in Springtime and a hand to hold when leaves begin to fall and a love whose burning light will warm the winter night, that’s all, that’s all.

There are those, I am sure who have told you they would give you the world for a toy, all I have are these arms to enfold you and a love time can never destroy.

If you’re wondering what I’m asking in return, dear you’ll be glad to know that my demands are small, say it’s me that you’ll adore, for now and evermore, that’s all, that’s all.

THIS IS FOR THE WORLD!

Tiger Woods said Elin Nordegren, not car crash, scratched face & chased him with golf club: report

BY Rose Davis In Windemere, Fla., and Tina Moore and Larry Mcshane In New York DAILY NEWS WRITERS
Originally Published:Friday, November 27th 2009, 2:50 PMUpdated: Saturday, November 28th 2009, 3:02 AM, Re-Posted by: Coctail Hour November 29th 2009.

Tiger Woods, bolting his Florida mansion after a reported late-night fight with his wife, was found dazed and bleeding Friday after plowing his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree.
The world's No. 1 golfer was pulling out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m. when he double-bogeyed the getaway in his 2009 Cadillac Escalade, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Wife Elin Nordegren heard the crash from inside the couple's $2.4 million home and went to her spouse's aid, police said.

The one-time Swedish model grabbed a golf club, smashed out a rear window in the SUV and helped Woods out of the wreck, said Windermere Police Chief Daniel Saylor.
But TMZ.com reported that a source said Nordegren scratched Woods' face after she went berserk over reports he was seeing another woman and chased him with a golf club, striking his vehicle as he ran from the home.

The Web site said the source talked to Woods after the smashup.
The crash came on the heels of reports in the National Enquirer and Star magazine that Woods had an affair with a New York nightclub hostess - who denied it last night to the Daily News.
Nordegren told cops she ran outside and discovered her husband bleeding from the mouth, with cuts on his lips, police said. She said she bashed out the rear window with the club and helped the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Woods out of the car.

Police arrived to find Woods, drifting in and out of consciousness, lying in the street with his wife watching over him, Saylor said. He was taken to a nearby hospital about 10 minutes later.
Cops said alcohol was not involved, but offered no explanation for where the world's richest athlete was headed alone in the middle of the night.
Woods and Nordegren live in the Isleworth neighborhood with their two children, 2-year-old Sam and 9-month-old Charlie.

The accident was part of a rough week for Woods, who is on the front page of this week's Enquirer under the headline "Tiger Woods Cheating Scandal."
The tabloid claimed Woods was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel - a sexy Manhattan hostess who lost a fiancé in the World Trade Center on 9/11 and was previously linked to married television star David Boreanaz.
Uchitel, a former party planner who has worked as a VIP hostess at swanky nightspots, denied it in a message sent to The News from her Facebook account.
"There is NO relationship with tiger these girls quoted in the story are not being truthful," she wrote.

"I resent my name being slung thru the mud."

The Enquirer story - and a similar story in Star - quoted a woman named Ashley Samson and said she was friends with Uchitel and passed a polygraph.
"I did not say those things to those 'sources' and im not friends with ashley simpson or whatever her name is," Uchitel insisted.
Woods had no comment beyond a statement that downplayed the accident.
"Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident outside his home last night," it read. "He was admitted, treated and released in good condition. We appreciate very much everyone's thoughts and well wishes."

Woods, 33, was taken by ambulance to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee after the crash, about a half-mile off the main drag in Windermere, just west of Orlando.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers went to Woods' home last night to talk to the golfer, but were turned away by Nordegren who said her husband was resting. She asked them to return today and they agreed, spokeswoman Kim Montes told the Orlando Sentinel.
His neighbors in the tree-lined development, with its private golf course and small lakes, include NBA star Shaquille O'Neal.

Police said the air bags on the 2009 Escalade did not deploy, meaning Woods was likely driving slower than 33 mph.
The crash remains under investigation and charges are possible against Woods, who has avoided public controversy in his stellar career. Woods owns 14 major championships, the second-highest total in golfing history, and earns more than $100 million annually from golf and his endorsement deals. He has captured 82 victories worldwide.
Last Saturday, Woods handled the coin toss before the California-Stanford football game. At halftime, the Stanford alum - accompanied by his wife - was inducted into his alma mater's sports Hall of Fame.

Obama condemned for indifference to China church persecution

BEIJING - As President Barack Obama prepares for his first visit to China, leaders of the unapproved churches there are condemning his administration for indifference to the increasing persecution they are facing.

The latest example of that persecution came Sunday as followers of an unapproved church in Beijing were again forced by the government to find a new place to worship.

Worship in China, governed by the officially atheist Communist Party, is allowed only in state-approved churches, but millions of people belong to unregistered churches that often face official harassment.

Sunday's banishment was the latest for the Shouwang church, one of the largest underground churches in China with about 800 members. It was forced to hold services in a park earlier this month after being kicked out of a rented indoor area. Photos and a video posted on the church's Web site, which was later blocked, showed hundreds of members gathered, holding snow-flecked umbrellas and Bibles.

On Sunday, police blocked church members again from meeting at the park, and hundreds ended up at a performance hall elsewhere in the city.

District police referred questions to the Beijing public security bureau, where calls rang unanswered Sunday. Calls to the State Religious Affairs Bureau also went unanswered.

Another well-known underground church in Shanghai, Wanbang, also has been told to close.

Harassing the two prominent unregistered churches is likely to intimidate other smaller churches. Members of the Beijing church said Sunday they have never experienced such harassment from authorities before.

Obama, who was to arrive in Shanghai later Sunday, will be closely watched during his visit for signs he will speak out on human rights, including religious freedom. Leaders of churches like Shouwang said if Obama doesn't speak up, the Chinese government will crack down even more.

"Sometimes before a major U.S. visit, Chinese authorities show goodwill and release someone. But this time, it's the opposite," said Yang Fenggang, director of the Center on Religion and Chinese Society at Purdue University. "I tend to think this is a test case."

Activists and others in China say the U.S. may not want to risk angering China when it needs cooperation on issues such as climate change and the financial crisis.

"I think so far President Obama has been the worst president in terms of dealing with China's human rights issue," said Fan Yafeng, an outspoken leader of another unregistered, or "house," church in Beijing.

He said the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences fired him Nov. 3 as a research fellow at its Institute of Legal Studies for political reasons, including his church activities.

"Human rights lawyers and house churches are two of the most important powers in China's civil society, but the president hasn't made any gesture to help them," Fan said.

Obama touched briefly on human rights and China in a major Asia policy speech in Japan on Saturday, but he did not mention specific issues.

The Obama administration's stance has worried many since February, when Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said the U.S. would not let human rights concerns interfere with cooperation with Beijing on global crises.

"The Obama administration's total silence on this issue was seen as a green light and certainly emboldens the Chinese government's resolve to carry out this sweep without worrying about international consequences," Bob Fu, founder of the U.S.-based Christian group China Aid Association, said in an e-mail Saturday.

M. Joseph Miller II. an ATOMIC FIREBALL?

So as usuall I'm online trying my best to keep up with all of the negative and positive rumors about my life when I decided to relax and take a test! Relax, test? Well not really a test, but more like one of those personality tests you find on classmates.com. What classic candy am I. After answering several questions I've found that I'm an Atomic Fireball....like to hear what that was, well here we go!

Atomic Fireball:

You [I] love to spice things up. There's something tempting about you [me]that lingers, making you [me] hard to forget. Though sometimes you're [I'm] a little over-powering, people always come back for more. That's because you're [I'm] a rewarding challenge. Deep within the layers of that tough outer shell lies something sweet and satisfying at the core.Your [My] pick–up line: "Is it hot in here, or is it just me?"

Huuum, for those of you who know me.....is this true? Interestingly enough, they are good and also my favorite color.

Comment:Stormfront Aryan you are the typical European megalomaniac, nothing wrong to prefer your own people over Asians, but you can be rest assured that your own so called white women would not necessarily agree with you. I am African living in the UK for over 20yrs. Now it matters little whether you agree with the point I am about to stress: Your European women literally throws themselves at the foot of us so called black me, they love it, and it's not just for the fact that we aren't no BUGf**kers, we are real and complete men. You have a problem with our race because we are the only one so far that can kick your pale reddish-pink ass. As for your type dating our bronze skin women, ha! a sister once remarked: " I understand having pink dolls, however the thought of having a pinkish colored man on top of me is a revulsion" You idiots aren't proud of the colour God made you as, sometimes you are more reddish than pink and at other times you are more pinkish than red yet you claiming to be white! You do not even know your own true colour yet you attempt to define the color of others. You stupid calls my bronze skin black, that doesn't bother I am proud of my skin colour any day! it reminds me of nourishment, of fertility, of the richness of the rich soil, of agility and strenght.......Oh yes! all the qualities you lack!....Yes the strong bronze man...Whilst you are blinded with envy and refuse to see us for what we truly are, your women comes alive with excitement even when they spot us from the distance. I’d still hold Japanese and Chinese above blacks anyday. I almost sympathize with their plight because of these negroes coming over to their countries. You claim to have a friend in Japan who’s told you some pretty bad stories about how Nigerians come over, impregnate Japanese girls, then get their visas to stay in the country and sell drugs.....He he he here you come again...Blaming others for your problems....why not your people stop consuming 90% of the worlds hard drugs production.....that will solve your drug problems. By the way that Japanese friend of yours....he/she's not by any chance from Hiroshima or Nagasaki or suffering from the effect of radioactive fallout? You claim we spread AIDS, violence, drug trafficking, and crime wherever you go... Really? be informed little hitler the generic term for most of these diseases in Africa is called the 'White man' diseases, this is because you name it from Syphilis to Gonorrhea, Small pox to WhatNot pox they brought it to the Continent. Their terrible tragedy made our people not immune against these strange diseases die like flies. Read some books this is recorded history. You say black men commit fifty percent of all violent crimes and robberies and 35 percent of all rapes..Just what planet have you retard flew in from? When a rape or a gruesome murder is carried out in your country (And I'm aware you are American) the profile the law enforcment agensies firt put out is that of a psychopathic white male. The study of the psychopath reveals an individual who is incapable of feeling guilt, remorse or empathy for their actions. They are generally cunning, manipulative and know the difference between right and wrong but dismiss it as applying to them. They are often the serial killers/rapist, incapable of normal emotions. Generally, they react without considering the consequences of their actions and of course just as we have witnessed in your case, they show extreme egocentric and narcissistic behavior. You stated that you originally thought the East Asians were smart enough not to embrace such multiculturalist bullshit but that you were wrong. Oh well, soon all of China, Korea, and Japan will find out how big of a curse you and your race have been to Humanity and not us people of African descent. We Africans did not start the wars that wiped out virtually all but a hand few of the thousands of European tribes through sheer barbarity on a scale never seen before and never shall be seen again. Africans did not start nor contributed in any way to the 100 year of barbarities between France and England in the name of the 'crown', we did not ship over 100 million of our African people to the west into a life of slavery, we did not annihilate the entire population of the 'red' Indians from the Americas and the Caribbean, we did not completely wipe out the wildlife in that part of the world, neither did we inflict tears, sorrows and death upon most of the worlds population in our quest to conquer, subjugate and annihilate the indigenes, thus seizing their lands and resources solely driven by greed and the savage thirst for blood. The blood of the Aboriginals of Australia still cries out to God for mercy out of a desire to relieve the sufferings of their past, present and future. Oh the over six million Jews burnt in the death camps of your European civilization, the over 50 million death on Europe's war theaters of the European war (So called world war II), the tens of million who perished less than twenty years before in Europe's World War I, Africans or the people of African descent had no contributions to all those. Ah ah! The Rape of Nanking, the Frying Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the crisis in Palestine, the wars of French and American Vietnam, the Korea wars, the Cold war and the amassing of weapons for mutually assured destruction not one of these despicable atrocities can be attributed to our people. Let's take a look at recent history, the military attacks against Syria, Iran, Grenada, Libya, the Sudan, Iraq and the list goes on and on, these are not the handy work of Africans or Africa's descent. So Stormfront your views are morally reprehensible; they are vile and only fit for the consumption of empty headed just like yourself.

Since when was it “common knowledge” that Asians and blacks make “gross” babies?
I was at a conference overseas and some (embarrassing) fellow Chinese kept standing up to condemn American “hegemony.” Had no idea what the h*ll she was talking about.
Americans have long embraced difference. It’s the Chinese who insist that everyone is the same! One race, one country, one Party…
I hope these comments are from crazies on the fringes of society, and that the average mainlander is not this ignorant and racist.

whatever says:

Racist? The chinese didn’t import blacks to the new world like herd animals. They didn’t break the front teeth of black slaves to force feed them liquid and keep them from suicide. The chinese didn’t exterminate the native americans in both North and South America, and practically the aboriginals in Aussie. The chinese didn’t rape, pilfer and burn the non-western world in their quest for domination and natural resources. Having built the railroads and mined for minerals, the western and aussie countries then expelled the chinese and signed chinese specific exclusion laws. If the chinese are racist, then I guess it takes one to know one.
The mother is a tramp period. What else do you call women who has an affair. The father is a lowlife scumbag. I wouldn’t have any beef with the daughter, her being born is not her fault. However, it is my beef when she uses her blackness to get notoriety. If you’re going to play that game, then don’t be surprised if you get burnt from the other side of the coin.
And all this PC black love in the western world is just the current hollywood/media fad flavor of the day. Of course, hollywood and the media runs a massive trade in racism and ignorance.

Comment:Hahaha, niggers are a funny ape-like people who act like they're so strong and brave when they abandon their children and kill each other in gang wars almost every day. I am an Indian living in America and I have seen your behavior everyday. You dirty the streets and come into gas stations, threatening and harassing Indian, Arab, and Pakistani gas station owners. Who can blame the Chinese or anyone else hating you, hahaha. Your young black thugs and welfare mothers with five children aside, even Gandhi himself, the international man of peace, hated blacks and thought of you as the dirty kaffirs you are. One of the finest men of our country correctly believed you to be inferior. He had this to say. Addressing a public meeting in Bombay on Sept. 26 1896: "Ours is one continued struggle against degradation sought to be inflicted upon us by the European, who desire to degrade us to the level of the raw Kaffir, whose occupation is hunting and whose sole ambition is to collect a certain number of cattle to buy a wife with, and then pass his life in indolence and nakedness." And Gandhi, bless his heart, was correct. You niggers cannot carry out and create civilizations like we Indians have and it is funny to see you react with so much raw anger against anyone you think is racist. Hahahahaha, go climb on a tree now, young ones. There is much you have to learn about peeling bananas! OOK OOKA OOOOOK!

Comment:Interesting an Indian man who is Black that wants to discriminate against another Black and who for strange reasons as many Black Indians that are suffering from shyness and and a very high inferiority complex wants to elevate himself by putting down another minority, hoping that he will be accepted in the White world. Nice try guy.Why is it that so many Indian men try to bleach their dark skin and why is it that Indian men can almost never get a good looking chick?I have so many ignorant losers as yourself that would constantly cry like a little whiny bitch that some brother gets all the girls and you don't get squat. So because of this, the only thing you can do is try to put down another minority, although you are one yourself.LMFAO!! Let's not even go there and talk about what a hell hole India is. I probably wouldn't know where to start and then on top of it, it would take a century to write out all the things that are so overly fucked up with that cesspool country of yours. That is why you guys come to the states and get all the shitty 7-Eleven jobs, but I don't blame you, if I had to work at a gas station and sell Slurpies all day, "Thank you very much, please come again" I'd be hating life too. You built a civilization??? The Taj Mahal and? Stop boring people, please. Funny, trying to Quote Ghandi, amazing. Indian twerps, such as yourself, always have some chip on their shoulder, wanting and hoping for the day to come that people will think that you are white and NOT black, but that day will never come, you will always be Asian and Black, better start to get used to it, my brother. Maybe if you stop eating all that fucking curry, take a bath and learn how to dress properly, you just might get noticed some day.

Comment:First of all Haji, I'm not your friend and second, who said, I WAS racist? I was just responding to your idiotic rant. As well, you have these make believe stereotypes about Blacks, being one yourself...how ironic, something like a Negro with straight hair, but less the style and finesse.Judging by your first post, it would seem that you were the one that was whining. We already have shown the world in Sports, Entertainment, business etc. India is developing, yes, that is the word; developing, not perfect and definitely NOT superior, not by a long shot. Country? Well, to a point. People; don't make me laugh! Your women outrank Black women??? Where? What are their names? What movies? World famous?? A-list movies, music?? Ahh, perhaps in that ultra-boring dance shit you guys call Bollywood, personally, it should be called "Boringwood or Shittywood" would fit the mold better.Cellulite-filled. Hmmmm, funny, it seems like the only and I mean ONLY decent looking Indian women you see that doesn't have a stomach big enough to have its own Zip code would be on TV/ Other than that, they slouch around with that lard oozing out of the sides. How attractive, so on that point, you might be right. Yea, Indian women outrank and outweigh Black women.Again, your own inferiority complexes like you and many other Indian males that I have met are too funny. Get some style and you won't have to worry about anything. Maybe you can get a decent woman and won't need to have a constant temper tantrum. LMAO! Glory to What? How about Glory to deodorant and how about India investing in some of that. Then you have the right to say glory. Thanks, Black man!

Mourning The Loss of Soldiers!

This post is a moment of silence in honor of the brave soldiers that lost their lives this week and those that were injured at Ft. Hood.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An easy way to remember when to fly the United States flag at half-staff is to consider when the whole nation is in mourning. These periods of mourning are proclaimed either by the president of the United States, for national remembrance, or the governor of a state or territory, for local remembrance, in the event of a death of a member or former member of the federal, state or territorial government or judiciary. The heads of departments and agencies of the federal government may also order that the flag be flown at half-staff on buildings, grounds and naval vessels under their jurisdiction.
On Memorial Day the flag should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon only, then raised briskly to the top of the staff until sunset, in honor of the nation’s battle heroes.
In the early days of our country, no regulations existed for flying the flag at half-staff and, as a result, there were many conflicting policies. But on March 1, 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower issued a proclamation on the proper times.

The flag should fly at half-staff for 30 days at all federal buildings, grounds, and naval vessels throughout the United States and its territories and possessions after the death of the president or a former president. It is to fly 10 days at half-staff after the death of the vice president, the chief justice or a retired chief justice of the United States Supreme Court, or the speaker of the House of Representatives. For an associate justice of the Supreme Court, a member of the Cabinet, a former vice president, the president pro tempore of the Senate, the majority leader of the Senate, the minority leader of the Senate, the majority leader of the House of Representatives, or the minority leader of the House of Representatives the flag is to be displayed at half-staff from the day of death until interment.
The flag is to be flown at half-staff at all federal buildings, grounds and naval vessels in the Washington, D.C., area on the day and day after the death of a United States senator, representative, territorial delegate, or the resident commissioner from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. It should also be flown at half-staff on all federal facilities in the state, congressional district, territory, or commonwealth of these officials.
Upon the death of the governor of a state, territory or possession, the flag should be flown at half-staff on all federal facilities in that governor’s state, territory or possession from the day of death until interment.
The president may order the flag to be flown at half-staff to mark the death of other officials, former officials, or foreign dignitaries. In addition to these occasions, the president may order half-staff display of the flag after other tragic events.
The flag should be briskly run up to the top of the staff before being lowered slowly to the half-staff position.

Reminders in Fashion By: M Joseph Miller II.

Verbicky’s earlier abstractions studiously avoided referring to anything. They could evoke elements and events, and shapes in them might bristle with suggestivity, but they finally insisted on their physical and visual autonomy, claiming to represent nothing but the artist’s inner ideas and feelings. It’s only now that, without losing the intensity of those inner impulses, Verbicky allows his work to engage methods and references that push it into the realm of – well, not the familiar so much as the known. His new abstract paintings are no less abstract for their atmosphere, for their light and nuance, for their persuasive glower in black and white; whether their surfaces have been resined or left raw; whether the extravagance of brushstrokes evocation of space and time; in the final analysis, he is painting paintings, not pictures. But, whether they brim with color or that comprises each of them directs the eye into the painting or bounces it all over – Verbicky’s abstractions now breathe the same air we breathe and, dare I say it, watch the same sunsets. These paintings are not landscapes in great part because they are not places. They do not depict, and are not even dependent on, any given view of any given spot on the earth. Indeed, in the way they vary from one another in structure, light, color, and spatial evocation, they betray the fact that the painter has invented them, forging them out of the process of painting rather than out of a process of looking at something else.”

Vacheron Constantin Three Dragons Limited Edition Watches

Vacheron Constantin recently opened up a new boutique in Hong Kong. To celebrate, they have also released three new limited edition Dragon watches. There will only be nine of each of the three watches made in this highly limited edition. The dragon motifs are each hand made, involving an incredible amount of delicate work. in addition to the hand applied decoration, there is also a fair amount of guilloche machine engraving that also requires a very skilled artist to apply.

Each of the three watches is done in a different shade of gold, along with a different image of the Chinese style dragon. Vacheron Constantin is well versed in artistic watch creations such as this. The Mask collections come to mind when thinking of their talents here. Inside the watches is a manufacture made Vacheron Constantin movement, and each is attached to a high quality black alligator strap. Vacheron Constantin is serious about China, not just Hong Kong, as the country is poised to breed a new generation of watch buyers given the current economic growth there in comparison to the rest of the world. Plus, Hong Kong remains one of the most important watch market capitals of the world - so the opening of the new "Flagship Boutique" by Vacheron Constantin there makes sense. I suspect it is the only place that these watches can be acquired.

Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Dorotheum, OH MY! - M. Joseph Miller II.

Some may never have an opportunity to enjoy life in a fashion that God has allowed me, does it take a couple of hundred thousand dollars, a few million or more? For some these glorious experiences will never come....but if your smart and ambitious you too can enjoy the luxuries of the middle class...well the Upper Middle-Class! I bring you an event that occurs every year in Europe, among many for auto enthusiests.

Dorotheum Auction at the Classic Expo, Salzburg, 17 October 2009

Dorotheum, the Vienna-based auction house established in 1707 and now the largest in Central Europe, is once again holding a sale at the Classic Expo in Salzburg, Austria. ‘Vintage Cars, Automobilia and Motorcycles’ will see 500 lots coming under the hammer on 17 October.

In the car category, an Aston Martin DB2 built in 1952 and kept in traditional British Racing Green guarantees an enthusiastic reception. When new, it was displayed at the Earls Court Motor Show and later went on to race at Goodwood. It carries an estimate of 130,000 – 140,000 euros. A light-metallic-green Triumph TR2 is another rarity. Its distinctive feature is the coupé conversion, a modification which the Belgian Imperia company carried out only 22 times. Named after the Francorchamps racetrack, the coupé features a top with removable Plexiglas section and a luxurious leather interior with four seats (estimate 36,000 – 42,000 euros).

Some 50 motorcycles will also be looking for new owners at this Dorotheum auction, including an NSU Konsul II (estimate 7000 – 9000 euros), the crowning achievement of the famous German manufacturer founded in 1901. The M.G.F. Triumph Fiddaman was originally purchased as a new experimental model in 1969 by racer Jean Bouquin, who ran it in 500 and 650 classes until 1975 (estimate 22,000 – 28,000 euros). Meanwhile, opening at the sensational starting bid of just 1 euro, is a 1907 motorcycle by Presto that was discovered only this year in Belgium and, for reasons of authenticity, simply cleaned and conserved. Research suggests it could be the last of its kind in Europe. The Dorotheum car expert Ernst Pilger describes it as "a jewel in original condition complete with its patina".To enjoy the last rays of the autumn sun in fine style, there’s always the iconic Jaguar E-type, a 3.8-litre, 210HP model. Said to be in excellent condition, it carries an estimate of 70,000 – 80,000 euros.

The auction also features around 400 lots of automobilia, from various publications to a child's bobsleigh by Porsche dating from the 1960s, as well as a selection of bonnet ornaments. One such item, never used and now behind glass, is a Rolls-Royce ‘Schneider Trophy’ SB6 seaplane dating from 1929-1931 (starting price 4000 euros).

Will the Real Mrs. M. Joseph Miller II. Please Stand Up!

Clad in a pair of 5-inch onyx Christian Louboutin platforms and a Chanel Caviar suit the woman with the almond eyes of the orient is seated next to me at the head table. She is a known model within China and throughout East Asia and now has been hunted to head the newly acquired English Elite Model and Talent Agencies headquarters off of the coast of Xiamen, China.

During this last awards event I attend while in country, accolades are read and awards are handed out and I am asked to speak about the progress of my ventures throughout China. It is only befitting that I announce that my relationship between the Director of the Agency and myself was more than entrepreneurial and that it was time to re-introduce to the world to this striking model before us, and also ask the real Mrs. M. Joseph Miller II. to stand up!

It had seemed to take forever to work out the public relations, the good publicity and the bad publicity prior to this announcement to the world that our family was finally complete and we had negotiated not only modeling agreements, but an agreement for a lifetime partnership! I guess the icing on this cake is the 4.25 carat Tiffany round diamond, set in a diamond studded Gumuchian platinum band.

Of course all fairytales have their obstacles and mine, is the service of my country that takes me back to Europe for a while before I get to see my family again, thank God for his blessings and also modern technology that allows me to communicate with my supportive family and staff in the States, Asia and Europe; While my heart belongs to family, my spirit and body belongs to the United States Infantry!

9 Hot Wedding Photo Trends as researched by M. Joseph Miller II.

Continued from October 11, 2009

6. Let it Slide
Run a slideshow of images from the ceremony and cocktail hour from your photographer's laptop and project them on a screen during dinner. Guests will love looking at what they just experienced, and they'll have plenty to talk about at the tables.

After the Reception ...

7. Go Digital

Instead of mounting a few photos on a wall in traditional frames, display a bunch in a single digital frame. Upload multiple images from a memory card or your computer and watch a slideshow of your day. You can even add music. It makes a great gift too.

8. Book 'Em
Skip the traditional album (the one with thick-as-cardboard, single-photo pages) in favor of high-quality coffee table books, like AsukaBooks. The images are printed on paper, and the layout is more like what you'd see in a magazine. Opt for a leather-bound or Lucite-covered book for a classic look that's less stuffy than a traditional album.

9. Learn to Preserve
Enlarging some final prints on museum-quality, fiber-based, silver paper will definitely be worth the purchase down the road when your precious memories are still intact. "A photograph on this paper could last for several hundred years," says Jen Kroll, a photographer in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When archiving your photos and negatives, choose acid-free boxes, negative-sleeves, and binders. They're pricey, but the absence of acid prevents your photos from yellowing or deteriorating.

KEEP POSTED, AND I'LL HAVE MORE INTERESTING STORIES FROM MY PREVIOUS TRAVEL LOGS. You didn't think i was done, after all I believe we did leave off in the East. Be sure to keep checking in and I'll bring you to a close on the east and start giving you the scoop on he "In between" These are just the things i do, keep positive and write about the good even if i am in the middle of uncertainty.

9 Hot Wedding Photo Trends as researched by M. Joseph Miller II.

Continued from October 9, 2009

3. Head to the City
Engagement cityscape shoots are popular because of the iconic quality of posing by recognizable landmarks. No skyline? Shooting against an urban brick wall can convey the same message. Use your favorite image in your save-the-dates or, for instant reception decor, blow up one of the pictures, mat it, and set it on an easel near the escort cards. Display other shots in your table cards.

During the Reception ...

4. Ditch the Formality

Try some casual shots, like the bride sitting on a staircase right after the ceremony, breathing a sigh of relief, with champagne at her feet. Or consider finding an "unofficial" setting. If your reception is at a country club, take pics on the golf course. Ask your photographer to get candids of your group making their way there. It's those between-the-moments photos that always turn out best.

5. Go Behind the Curtain
Rent a photo booth and a technician to troubleshoot. Have guests tape wacky shots next to their messages in the guest book. Or create a DIY photo studio in a section of the reception room. Hang a nine-foot-wide seamless paper for a backdrop and bring a printer so guests can take photos home.

Mr. B. Insane Obama!

Are you mad man? I believe this to be the President of promisses, the man who has appointed more czars to the office than any other President, the man who even after taking office continues to campaign!

HE HAS NOT DONE ONE SINGLE THING SINCE HE'S BEEN IN OFFICE!

Saturday, October 10th this stranger to the house made yet another promise.

"I will end 'don't ask-don't tell,'" Obama said to a standing ovation from the crowd of about 3,000 at the annual dinner of the Human Rights Campaign, a gay civil rights advocacy group. Obama reaffirmed his commitment to end the ban, but did not give a timetable or the specifics that some activists have called for.

NO I DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS MAN.........I SAY AGAIN....M. JOSEPH MILLER II. does not agree with his policy!

9 Hot Wedding Photo Trends as researched by M. Joseph Miller II.

We all know that Spring is the high of the season for fashion, and weddings, June being the favorite month of them all in the West, but this year saw September 9th as the big day for a larger percentage of newlyweds, mostly because of the date itself, 09-09-09. These three numbers together in many Eastern cultures signify eternity, longevity, or whatever. In any case I've done some research and found a few things that some brides and grooms to be for the future might find interesting, keep reading, and what i find most fascinating is that these tips fit everyones tastes. Keep a look over the next few days.

Brides and grooms are using photography in innovative ways t truly make their wedding a reflection of themselves and their style. Learn about nine ways to incorporate the latest photo trends into your own wedding planning

By Stephanie Emma Pfeffer - Reposted by : M. Joseph Miller II.

A wedding photo is meant to preserve your fabulous day for the rest of your life — it's not just your new profile pic on Facebook after all! But nuptial shots can look stiff and boring if you're not careful — or worse, just like everyone else's. How can you make them unique? Here are new photography ideas that'll take you from pre-to post- "I do."

Before the Reception ...
1. Become the Center of Attention

Instead of flowers, fill photo cubes with different shots from your dating history or world travels and then use them as table centerpieces. It's a great conversation-starter and a nice way for guests to learn more about the early stages of your relationship. And unlike fresh blooms, you can decorate your home with these afterward.

2. Be the Favors
Have your photo imprinted on cookies and leave one at each place setting. Opt for a black-and-white, vintage-looking image so it doesn't come out cheesy. Wrap the cookie in wax paper and tie with a ribbon. Then let guests eat their hearts out — and your faces off!

To be continued....

M. Joseph Miller II. Fashion Research for F[all]!!!

Bright Coat

WHY WE LOVE IT This is normally where you lean toward neutral, right? Yet, as the only garment this season where colors pop with a fruity vivacity, the belted coat is fall's wardrobe punchup, eye-catching without extravagance.

HOW TO WEAR IT Don't put up any competition. Black, navy, or beige underneath is how to best highlight these coats. Work that belt—keep it tied. It creates a V shape between the wide lapels that's a stunning face-framer wherever you go.

M. Joseph Miller II. & Fashion, Fashion, Fashion!

Ironically enough I, M. Joseph Miller II. was once asked this question at a galla in Beverly hills by the one and only Mr. Blackwell.

"What's Your Fall Fashion Must-Have?"

But obviously others continue a tradition started by the man himself as Ms. Warner asks the same question of Zoe Saldana.

"I've never been a leather person but I'm very into wearing leather pants this year. I also saw these amazing Versace booties that drove me insane."

Christopher Savoie, Dad Jailed in Japan for Child Rescue, (M. Joseph Miller II, Supports you.)

NEW YORK (CBS) "I’m so scared," Christopher Savoie told CNN Thursday in a jailhouse interview, speaking only in Japanese as per prison guidelines. "I don’t know how long I’ll be in here," he added.

Christopher Savoie, 38, is imprisoned in Japan for kidnapping his children while they were walking to school with their mother Norika Savoie. But Christopher Savoie contends that his ex-wife Norika is the real kidnapper. Back in August, she snatched the children from America and fled to Japan even though Christopher had been granted full custody by an American court. So who is the real kidnapper?

"I want Americans to know what's happening to me," Christopher Savoie said CNN’s Kyung Lah. "I didn't do anything wrong. Children have the right to see both parents. It's very important for my children to know both parents." CBS News has been unable to reach Norika Savoie. In the 15 minutes allowed for the interview, Christopher Savoie spoke about Japan's laws on parental kidnapping, noting that the government has sided with his estranged wife.

"Japanese people think she's the victim here," Savoie said. "In the States, my ex-wife is the one who's in the wrong." Savoie appeared tired and worn out from the ordeal, according to CNN. With tears in his eyes, Savoie gave a message for his two children, Rebecca, 6, and Isaac, 8. "I love you, Isaac, Rebecca," he told the reporter. "Your daddy loves you forever. I'll be patient and strong until the day comes that I can see you both again. I am very sorry that I can't be with you." The interview was almost cut short, says CNN, after Savoie blurted out in English: "I love you," a statement intended for his current wife, Amy, who is in Tennessee.

At the end of the heart-wrenching interview, Savoie bowed and through the glass divider gave a thumbs up and mouthed the words, "Thank you," according to CNN.

(Re-Posted)

"You have my support Mr. Savoie!"

I believe that the efforts of our Government were wasted on the likes of two particular reporters who were "Detained" in North Korea a few months back, instead, we should be supporting and assisting true citizens like Mr. Savoie in his endeavors to be reunited with his family!

The Style of M. Joseph Miller II.

I refuse to allow the challenges of life completely alter my life and path of which I am on, this is why I am getting back onto that path of which I started oh so many months ago...be they travel stories or those of fashion. This one is one of fashion.

A few days ago, I was walking to brunch when I ran across an old friend I met in Germany a few years ago, we had not seen one another in some time and started a conversation, one that lead us to enjoy the mornings meal together. He had remembered that my sense of fashion and style was more astute than that of others particularly the others in the immediate surroundings of which we had met; and so he mentioned to me that he had purchased a couple of suits of clothing and a few shirts that he wanted my opinion on.

I obliged and later met him at his place to peruse his new wears. Clearly his sense of style leaned more towards that of Crocket and Tubs, we both joked, of course neither of us could agree as to which version of the pair he had taken cue, the 80’s or the more recent duo as portrayed by Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.

One suit, black with three buttons and the other grey, so far so good….the material, of the black one was, as I recall not silk or wool, but suitable, the other of better quality maybe even in the “super 150” category, not the best, but still quite nice for starters. He then showed me something I was surprised to see, a white French-cuffed dress shirt, ahhhh how refreshing a dash of sophistication abounds at last even though he mentioned that he has yet to purchase a pair of links.

I was about to get into detail about how to pair these suits and what not to wear with them when he introduced to me what he considered the pièce de résistance!

One black shirt and one white shirt and one red “Pure Silk.” As he exclaimed. Now surely many of you may wonder, what the problem, silk is the best, isn’t it? Well, for men, a silk suit may be ok, especially if your a member of the "family", as for the shirts, their better left for after ten at night no business meetings in a silk shirt. \

As red...its just a NO-GO, unless your going to your prom and your matching your dates bow. Otherwise lets leave the silk red dress shirts for the latin dance instructors! Be very careful with the solid color silk shits as it will be hard to match them to a suit or tie, I mean the black silk shirt will probably only go with a black silk tie and as for the white silk shirt, the contrast of being shiny white itslef, should just be left alone and worn without a tie altogether.

I can only go into so many to do's and not to do's in this session, but if anyone has any specific questions, dont hesitate to comment or ask. Until next time, where what you like and feel good in it, the most important thing is that you like it!

DoD to Announce Balanced Social Media Policy

WASHINGTON, Sept. 24, 2009 -

Defense Department officials plan to forward a social media policy to the department leadership within the next two weeks that will balance the pros and cons of social networking sites, the department’s top public affairs official said on National Public Radio’s “Talk of the Nation” yesterday.

“I think there are two issues that need to be balanced,” said Price Floyd, principal deputy assistant secretary of defense for public affairs. “No. 1, you need to recognize the benefits taking part in social networking sites and social networking media give you, as well as the risks involved. And I don’t want in any way to shortchange the risks. “I believe [the policy] … will encourage the use of social networking because of the benefits that are there, but also understand and underscore the risks there,” he added. Social media generally refers to using Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and other interactive media tools to communicate with ever-expanding networks of family, friends and colleagues. Currently, Floyd said, the department does not have a policy on the use of social media. “Right now there is no policy on working with or in social networking sites or media. It's currently under review,” he said. “It's on course to be finished within about two weeks.” Introduced on NPR as the department’s “social media guru,” Floyd said not everyone in the department feels the same because they worry that operational security -- Opsec -- will be violated. “In the past, when a soldier, airman, [sailor] or Marine sent home a letter to their family or loved ones and had information in it that might have been sensitive, it could have been read by two or three people, and that was it,” he explained. “The problem now with social networking is that when you Twitter that information that might be sensitive … or put it on your Facebook page, thousands of people see it immediately, and then thousands more could see it as it's forwarded on to others,” he said. “The ramifications of making a mistake, of putting things that shouldn't be on there on those sites, are even greater than they used to be.” Noah Shactman, editor of Wired magazine’s National Security Blog ‘Danger Room,’ was also a guest on the NPR program. He noted there are dozens of overlapping policies about what various branches of the military are allowed to do. The Marines, for example, recently banned Twitter and Facebook from its official networks, while the Army ordered that its networks be allowed access to the sites. “That's just one example of how there's a lot of tension within the military about whether to use these sites or not, and that's why I think this review is very helpful,” Shactman said. The operational security concerns “might be a little overblown,” Shactman said, noting that a 2006 study revealed independent military blogs only had 28 security violations over the course of a year, while official military sites had more than 1,800 violations of those same security policies. Floyd said he used his Twitter account to get feedback on the Marine policy ban when it was announced. Most people who responded said they wanted folks to have access, but “a large minority” said they understood there were security concerns. “These people were on Twitter saying, ‘Yes, this should be blocked,’ so not everyone who uses social networking sites is in favor of having complete and open access,” he said. Many of the people who called into the NPR program spoke in favor of more regulation of social media sites, even as they pleaded for more constant access to their deployed loved ones. One former soldier, Matt, who served two tours as an officer in Iraq, said using social media in Iraq earlier this decade was distracting to his troops. “I've also heard comments from other commanders on the ground that they need to be focused on the fight, not what's going on at home,” Floyd said. ”But I've also heard lots of comments about how it was easier to reintegrate once they came back.” Mike, a noncommissioned officer who served a tour in Afghanistan and two tours in Iraq, said for his soldiers to have “seamless communication with their families was absolutely helpful to morale.” Kira called in to say she talks to her deployed boyfriend in Iraq via Skype, a free video chat service. She thanked Floyd for being able to use social networking, but she said she also recognizes the risks it poses. “It might seem innocuous, but if the right pieces of information are put in the right order, then that can really put our troops in danger,” she said. “I think [operational security] needs to be emphasized more within the military community.” Floyd pointed out that some military commands have been using social media for years: Navy Adm. James G. Stavridis, commander of U.S. European Command and NATO’s top military commander, launched his Facebook page and blogged while leading Southern Command. Recruiters also are using social media to keep in touch with troops who have signed up but have yet to report for duty, Floyd said. “I was at the Recruiting Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky, several weeks ago, and they're going to use Twitter to keep in touch with recruits before they show up,” he said. “They also use Twitter to let their recruits know how they can earn credit towards promotion even before they show up for their first day of duty.” Overall, Floyd said, he believes there is a general misunderstanding about social media. “A lot of people think of it as a new way to get information out. So in that sense, when we went from blast faxing information to blast e-mailing, people were so excited you could push one button and reach so many people,” he said. “And they believed that Web 2.0 is just the next extension of that. I believe that's just a fundamental misunderstanding of what Web 2.0 is all about.” It's not so much a way of getting more information out, he said, it’s also a way of engaging the American people, and “in the case of the military, engaging internally with our internal audience of several million members of the Defense Department.” The department’s newly revamped Web site, www.defense.gov, is designed to engage the public in discussion, Floyd stressed.
